This is the armrest that the majority of the smart dealers across the world install in their cars as an aftermarket option when a customer wants a high quality armrest.
The arm rest is available in Anthracite coal (very dark Gray) leather. This is very close to the factory leather color. Some of the pictures show the armrest in light Gray, but it is simply lighting. The armrest is only available in Dark Gray and it is almost a perfect match for the smart car interior.
When not in use you can raise the armrest and get it out of the way. It is also fully adjustable and can be raised and lowered to any position you like. There is a turn knob that is located under the arm rest that allows you to adjust it to an angle that is most comfortable for you.

"Purchased the smart car armrest from Smart Madness last week and received it in the mail yesterday afternoon. Took a few minutes in the evening and installed it. It matches the black leather interior perfectly and was an easy install (slide the seat fully forward and lay the seat back on the steering wheel for easy access to the bottom seat frame to bolt the steel arm rest mount on (two bolts and nylock nuts that are included)...then bolt the arm rest to the the seat rest mount by lining up the arm rest tab to the seat rest mount and tighting up the bolt with the flat washer placed between the arm rest mount and the arm rest pad for a pivot point). Even though this is a "pricey" product, it is a very high quality product...strongly built... with adjustable angle of the arm rest itself. I am very happy with item...for those on the line...go ahead and enjoy it!!!"

"This is Linda, Nick's wife. It's a good product and adjustable for any angle/height that you may need. I used it within five minutes of install to make a quick run out. It was good. As a passenger you can use it if the driver has hands on the wheel. Its only two or three inches wide so it doesn't take up much space between the driver and passenger. You can also fold it up out of the way if you don't want it down for some reason. It looks good too.
