Our manufacturer sands down the pieces to a smooth finish prior to the Carbon Fiber overlay being done. The piece is then clear coated for durability and buffed to perfection. This process takes a lot of time and is something that cannot be done in volume. Due to this the item is not cheap, but as they say "You get what you pay for".
