This listing is for a SOLO Performance smart car exhaust that features a Center Dual Tip exit and a Flex Pipe to reduce vibration and eliminate breakage.




Solo Performance brings you a high quality exhaust for your smart car. Their goal was to bring you a high quality exhaust for your smart car at a price point that is also affordable.

Solo has been building aftermarket exhaust systems since the 1960's and have now joined forces with us to bring you this new exhaust system.
















This new exhaust is designed to offer you similar performance gains of other aftermarket smart car exhausts, but without all that extra drone and noise. This unit features a nice polished custom resonator (now larger for more noise reduction) that has been specially tuned for this application, quality welds and a special 6" long Stainless Steel Flex Pipe to take care of all the trouble that some other exhaust systems have had trouble dealing with.














Here are some of the features of this exhaust system:

1) Flex Pipe - This exhaust uses a Stainless Steel Double Braided Flex Pipe. These double braid flex pipes look the same on the inside as they do on the outside. This is in contrast to a single braided flex pipe that shows the corrugations internally.

There are several benefits to the double braided or lined flex:

a) They last much longer.

b) They don't whistle or make vibrating noises.

c) Less stress is put on the middle corrugated pipe.

d) The exhaust gases flow is better through this type of flex.                                                                                   

e) Sound quality is better as the exhaust note doesn’t “spill” through the flex before it gets to the muffler.

2) The pipe steel that is used is T409 stainless. The pipe is all mandrel bent. The muffler and tip are T304 Stainless.

3) A polished Stainless Steel Oval Tip has been added to this exhaust system for a nice finished look.

If you are using the stock valance you will need to trim a little piece for the exhaust tip.
