Here is the only direct bolt on Vertical Door Kit for your 450 Model smart car. Unlike other kits that are advertised all over the Internet this kit is designed to work with the 450 Model smart car and is a direct replacement for the stock hinges (some modifications will be required).



We have a variation of this kit installed on our own 451 Model SMART MADNESS smart car and have personally installed more Vertical Door kits on smart cars than anyone else.

Don't be misled by other vendors claiming they are the exclusive distributor of this product and then go on to claim that they carry this product in stock. There are no exclusive distributors for this kit and the manufacturer will only make this kit as a special order due to the complexity of the kit and the limited volume.

Please note! On the 450 model smart car you will need to make some modifications on the front fender panels and on the metal part of the frame that is located behind the plastic panels. This is necessary in order for the hinges to clear the existing bodywork. Afterwards you will need to have some body work done to cover up the 2 cut outs (one per fender) that are needed to be made for the hinges to operate. The kit will come with everything you will need.
